Dr S Murthy Korada
Paediatrician
Pediatric Endocrinologist
Dr Korada obtained his undergraduate degree, MBBS in India. He completed his post-graduate training in Paediatrics and Pediatric endocrinology in the U.K. After moving to Canada (Maple Ridge) in 2010, he divided his time as a Pediatrician and Pediatric endocrinologist.
He proceeded to obtain his Canadian certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology. At his office in Maple Ridge, he looks after children with General paediatric concerns including asthma, allergies, growth issues, constipation, celiac disease and enuresis.
He accepts referrals for children with endocrine concerns including thyroid conditions, growth, concerns, puberty, questions, and adrenal concerns. He is part of a multidisciplinary team at the paediatric diabetes clinic, Surrey Memorial Hospital, and looks after the children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
At Ridge Meadows Hospital, Maple Ridge, he’s part of the on-call team for acute paediatrics. His role includes the management of newborn emergencies and children referred from the emergency department with acute medical conditions.
Dr. Korada is a member of the medical staff association at Ridge Meadows Hospital and specialist lead for the Ridge Meadows division of family practice.
Dr. Thareshnee Govender
Pediatrician
Dr Thareshnee Govender is a dedicated pediatrician with over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive medical care from newborns to adolescents.She obtained her medical degree in South Africa in 2004 (MBChB with Summa Cum Laude) and completed her pediatric training in South Africa, obtaining her Fellowship of the College of Paediatricians of South Africa in 2011 (FC Paed). After practising in South Africa as a Pediatrician, she moved to Canada (Maple Ridge) in January 2019.
Dr Govender became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in 2020 (FRCPC). She is fully licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Her expertise encompasses the management of:
Medical concerns: (eg. Asthma, Allergies, Nutrition, Growth and Development, Eating disorders, Obesity, Constipation, Celiac Disease, Eczema and other dermatological conditions)

Dr Naveen Mohanraj
Pediatrician
Dr. Mohanraj is an experienced pediatrician with a strong background in both general and behavioural pediatrics. He earned his medical degree (MBBS) and MD in India. He then pursued advanced training in Neonatology through a fellowship at Oxford University Hospitals in the UK.
In addition, he obtained his MRCPCH and further specialized in general and behavioral pediatrics during his time in the UK.
In 2022, Dr. Mohanraj brought his expertise to Canada and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He currently serves on the pediatric on-call team at Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge, where he provides care for newborns and treats a wide range of acute pediatric conditions.
In the community, he provides care for children with a wide range of general pediatric concerns, including asthma, enuresis, developmental delays, constipation, and eczema.
Dr. Mohanraj has a particular interest in behavioral pediatrics, including assessment and management of complex behaviour challenges and neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is an active member of the BC Autism Assessment Network (BCAAN) and is leading a local initiative aimed at enhancing autism assessment services in the Lower mainland region.
